Nice book for first year at university to help settle into studying, very easy to read.

This guide tells prospective undergraduate students of psychology exactly what to expect from a university degree course in this academic subject. The book focuses on what students often wonder about but do not know (as well as being frequently reluctant to enquire) about this discipline when studied and researched at undergraduate degree level, both in terms of the form of tuition ( seminar, tutorial, lectures, guided study and research, etc) and the rigour expected above and beyond what is widely accepted as the topics covered by this discipline as perceived by the layman and often students themselves who may not have necessarily studied the subject themselves at 'A' level. IN short, a must for every psychology undergraduate, regardless of prior knowledge and study!

This book clearly spells out everything any potential psychology student needs to know, providing advice on how to write essays, exemplar essays, revision tips for exams and how your work should progress throughout your degree. I am starting psychology at Uni in September & already feel I have a good understanding about what is expected of me.
