Review Text

Wonderful, couldn't find one story in the book that I didn't like. All great stand alone stories. Introduced me to some authors I have not read before and once I catch up with reading what I already have on my Kindle will be trying them out.

A bit like the curate's egg, good in parts. A good read for those lazy days when you don't need to concentrate.

A nice little book of mystery/crime stories, some excellent some mediocre. Short pieces -would be good for a journey or a waiting room!

Collection of stories by the Murder Squad but Pawson takes the biscuit. Author of the Charlie Priest books ( BUY THEM NOW! ) sadly Stuart is quite unwell but hopefully we'll see more stories from him.

Not a review, as such, because I'm one of the contributors to this anthology, but I wanted readers to know that The Message, by Margaret Murphy, and Laptop, by Cath Staincliffe, have both been shortlisted for the 2012 Crime Writers' Association Short Story Dagger.

  • By C. Staincliffe on 13 August 2012

Again not a review as such, as I'm a contributor too. But just to let everyone know that Margaret and I were joint winners of the CWA Short Story Dagger with our stories The Message and Laptop!
